Leonardo F. Peklar appointed into the ECODA Membership Committee

Board of ECODA (European Confederation of Director’s Associations) appointed Chairman of Socius, Leonardo Peklar into their Membership Committee.

ECODA is a not-for-profit association founded in December 2004 under the laws of Belgium. It is now representing ten members. Any association representing individual company directors is welcome to affiliate to the ECODA provided that it is an incorporated legal entity under the laws of a Member State of the European Union or of the European Economic Area. Member associations are also expected to be free of political affiliation and to have sound finances.

ECODA’s objective is to promote directors’ skills, professionalism and impact on society. It will propose solutions to the key corporate governance questions facing Europe today, including the challenge of helping directors to operate effectively across all the European Union Member States. ECODA aims to be an active partner of the European Union and of its institutions – especially the European Parliament and European Commission.

ECODA will build close links with all organizations relating to corporate governance at European and International levels alike.
